With the introduction of iOS 7, an entirely new UI paradigm is available for developers and users. As a developer, I wanted to leverage the power of UIColor, but couldn't find a quick reference tool to help me find exactly the shade of lime or banana or peach, I was looking for. That's why I built this simple, but powerful utility.
UIColorBox is designed as a handy tool for iOS developers. Users manipulate four sliders to see how the dimensions of the Objective-C command 'UIColor withRed:(red) green:(green) blue:(blue) alpha:(alpha)' interplay to produce the color of the box. The variables red, green, blue and alpha are selected from specific attribute sliders so changing the slider changes the reported color number between 0 and 1 and adjusts the color of the box.
Not fancy, just useful.
AND NOW, in v2.0, I've added a similar tool for exploring the animation features. Select your settings and then click on the Digital Hermosa logo to activate the animation.
Requires iOS 7.0 or later. Compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.
